BEWARE: Fake eggs made of plastic sold in Chonburi markets



A woman from Chonburi province had just discovered that one of the eggs she bought in a local market in Ban Bung district was a fake one after it emitted a smell of a burning plastic when she fried it, Thai PBS reported.

Mrs Lek Jaikla, 49-year-old told reporters that she bought 10 eggs for 35 baht from a vendor from a local market in Chonburi.
This would be the first case of fake eggs being sold inside Thailand after a report that fakes eggs were manufactured in China and being exported in other countries.
It is very hard to detect the fake ones just by looking at them and worse it has been reported that they were mixed up with the real ones
Officials in Ban Bung district are now investigating the reports about the fake eggs that have been sold in local markets in Thailand.
Eggs consumer have been warned about this incident to make sure they only buy eggs from reputable suppliers and stores.

Beware of Fake Salt Manufactured In China.

 From fake tech gadgets, fake island, fake vegetables, fake rice and eggs, now its fake salt. Recent news revealed that authorities from China discovered fake inedible salt made from residue of agricultural chemicals being manufactured in Huangwe province.

This is alarming news added to the many fake food products now being made in China. Just months ago, it was reported that a counterfeit rice has been sold to many markets in Asia and it has been reported that it already reach Davao City, Philippines.

The report said that three people in Huangwe province has been in police custody after being caught manufacturing and selling fake salt.

The inedible salt made from extracted agricultural chemicals has taught might have been in the market now.



Consumers are advised not to take or buy salt coming from China and look carefully the labels of salt packages they are buying in commercial stores and they should avoid this.
